Makita LXFD01CW 18V Compact Lithium-ion cordless driver-drill
Makita has released the new 18V Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless ½" Driver-Drill, model LXFD01CW. It is powered by a Makita-built 2-piece, 4-pole motor with bigger and stronger front-end ball bearings and heavy gauge copper winding on the armature. Bosch Power Tools and Accessories announces a new line of heavy-duty 18V high-torque impact wrenches designed to give users the power and durability they require, yet are the most lightweight in the category. Sand right to the edge! CS Unitec's new ETS 225 Drywall Sander prepares wall and ceiling seams with a smooth finish quickly and cleanly before painting, plastering or decorating. Dust-free sanding discs have vacuum holes and a hook and loop backing. Coupled with a dust extraction vacuum, these discs reduce airborne dust for a cleaner and safer working environment.

Kett KSV-432 Vacuum Saw
Help remodelers comply with new EPA lead hazards ruling.
Contractors and remodelers who are facing the EPA's new Final Ruling on lead, remodeling, repair and painting can be aided in becoming compliant when using Kett Tool's KSV-432 vacuum saw with a HEPA filtered shop vacuum. The ruling requires that contractors, remodelers, painters, plumbers and other tradesmen be EPA-certified and follow detailed work and safety practices to prevent lead contamination and poisoning.
The KSV-432, when used in conjunction with a HEPA filtered shop vacuum, works to contain hazardous dust, a key element in the new EPA ruling. Kett's vac saw's cast aluminum head easily attaches to most standard shop vacuums using HEPA filters, which can remove up to 99.97 percent of lead particles, some as small as .03 microns. MAKITA 18V LXT Lithium-ion Cordless Rotary Hammer
Makita announces the new 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Rotary Hammer Kit, model BHR241. It features a new shock absorbent D-handle design, and combines speed, power and comfort with less vibration for a range of concrete drilling applications.
The new BHR241 has a Makita-built variable speed motor that delivers 1-1,000 RPM and 0-4,000 BPM. It has a 3-Mode operation for "rotation only," "hammering with rotation," or "hammering only."
The built-in clutch reduces gear damage by disengaging gears if bit binds.

The new pressure washers are powered by Marathon or Baldor electric motors, depending on the model, and range from 1.5 to 10 horsepower. Also, they are available with either single-phase GFCI or three-phase power requirements.
All models feature industrial-grade triplex ceramic plunger pumps, which are designed to provide many hours of service.
The units are available with pressure ratings between 1,000 and 4,000 psi, and flow rates vary between 1.5 and 4.8 gpm. Furthermore, a customizable option allows customers to choose pressure and flow ratings based on their specific needs.
Standard features include a seven-gauge steel chassis, heavy-duty unloader valve, safety relief valve, thermal relief valve, and high-capacity inlet in-line water strainer. The pressure washers also come with an insulated trigger gun, a 50-foot hose with quick coupling, and a series of 0- to 40-degree-angle color-coded nozzles. For maximum portability, all models incorporate flat-free pneumatic tires with ball bearing hubs and a handle that can be positioned at either the front or back of the unit.
Options include a rotary (turbo) nozzle, rotary brush, dual lance with variable pressure, low water cutoff, pulse dampening accumulator and chemical injection kits. Multiple guns, lances, extension hoses, spray tips and hose reels are also available to accommodate individual needs.
Hougen-Ogura 76000 battery-powered Punch-Pro
Hougen Manufacturing's new battery-powered Hougen-Ogura Punch-Pro Electro-hydraulic portable hole puncher 76000 model, can be easily operated on-site where electric power may not be available or high up on a man-lift where power is not readily accessible.
Although it is battery powered, it packs enough punch to generate 8.5 tons punching force and can punch round or oblong holes up to 19/32″ diameter in 15/64″ mild steel (65,000 psi tensil strength) and 19/32″ in 5/32″ stainless steel (89,000 psi tensil strength) in four seconds. The unit's throat depth is 1.02″ and it can punch flat bar, angle or channel stock.
Weighing just 16.5 pounds, the 76000 model is ideally suited for applications typically done with electric hand-held twist drills. The operator can easily position the tool when working in narrow or awkward positions by rotating the motor 360 degrees in either direction during operation. The punch can be jogged down to the center mark to confirm hole location accuracy. An auto-return mechanism returns the punch to the starting position.
Its DC magnet motor is powered by an 18V DC Lihium-ion battery that can be fully charged in 22 minutes using the included battery charger. It can punch approximately 150 holes through 15/64" mild steel on a single battery charge. Hougen offers five other Punch-Pro Electro-hydraulic portable hole punch models for making holes from 1/4″ up to 15/16″ in material 5/64″ up to 1/2″ thickness.

Bosch PS31 Ultra-Compact 12-Volt drill driver
Building on the successful launch earlier this year of the re-engineered Bosch PS21 Pocket Driver, Bosch Power Tools & Accessories continues the introduction of its upgraded lithium-ion-powered 12V Max lineup with the unveiling of the powerful and versatile PS31 2-Speed Ultra-Compact Drill/Driver.
The new PS31 boasts both the shortest height (7”) and the shortest head length (7.04”) of any standard-chuck drill/driver, yet it is still 20 percent more powerful (265 inch pounds of torque) than the competition. Bosch’s PS31 also comes in as this lightest tool in its class at 2.1 pounds. That means all-day comfort and unparalleled maneuverability, especially when working in cramped quarters.
A 3/8” single sleeve, three-jawed chuck offers users the versatility to accomplish 90 percent of the most common drilling and driving applications and makes bit changes simple and quick.
