Roadside Safety collapsible traffic cones
Roadside safety's Collapsible Cones come in several sizes; 18, 28 and 30 inches. They are being used all over the world to help on projects where cones are needed but space is minimal. They also come in a version that is not lighted.
The 18" collapsible cone's main function is to provide a cone while taking up less space than a traditional cone. These are usually not used on the freeway but are used in private parking areas or even soccer fields or for other events, They have reflective tape and also are available with a light in the bottom to increase visibility at night.
The 28" collapsible cone meets the minimum height set by the FHWY for cones that will be used on the Highway and Roads. It's main advatage is that it provides a cone while taking up less space then a traditional cone. These also come packed in individuals, sets of 4 in plastic case and set of 5 in durable orange canvas bag (see picture) The 5 pack was developed to meet the NFPA regulation that all new fire trucks must carry 5 28" cones. The resulting 1600 x 1200 resolution captures large outdoor spaces, such as a parking lot or office entrance way, to give users a single large image rather than juggle multiple video streams from several lower resolution IP cameras.

Vent-A-Garage VG200 air system from Alert Stamping
Alert’s new Vent-A-Garage VG200 is a two car garage ventilation system which exchanges Hot, Volatile Fume or Odorous air with fresh air. This is achieved by using two brushless ball bearing 22W Quiet Exhaust Fans which draw bad air out at a rate of 230 Cubic Foot/Min.(CFM. Two bottom vents allow fresh air to enter which completes the air exchange operation. These bottom vents include a snap cover to seal during inclement weather.

DBI-SALA Cynch-Lok fall-restricting pole strap
Capital Safety, home of the DBI-SALA and PROTECTA brands of fall protection equipment, introduces the Cynch-Lok fall restriction device from its premium DBI-SALA line. The Cynch-Lok fall restricting pole strap is the most user-friendly device of its kind, offering effortless adjustments and a unique design that will "cynch" around a pole to limit fall distances when used correctly.
With an easy-to-use, lightweight yet durable design, the Cynch-Lok pole strap was engineered to meet the demands of linemen everywhere. Its exterior strap offers simple slide-into-place adjustment to fit the pole and to allow climbers to adjust to the pole diameter while climbing, while the interior lanyard provides a rope adjustor for climbers to quickly and easily position themselves on the pole. This strap interchangeability maximizes versatility and longevity by eliminating the need for multiple devices.
Ergonomic strap ends give the user a comfortable gripping location away from pinch hazards and allow for standard hitch-hiking motion without aggressively manipulating the strap up and down. Cynch-Lok also features an abrasion-resistant sleeve to help prolong product life. The sleeve is mobile, permitting adjustment on the pole if needed and allowing fast, easy access to inspect the interior rope underneath.
Depending on what size and type of pole the user is climbing, the exterior portion of the Cynch-Lok strap can be exchanged for different lengths, offering complete field versatility. Both distribution and transmission sized models are available, and separate exterior straps are offered as options for linemen who climb poles of various diameters. Further, these straps can also act as replacement pieces in the event the unit is damaged in the field. This lowers the cost of ownership, as the entire system would not need to be replaced.
Cynch-Lok also features a specially designed cleat and carabineer that will restrict a fall during a cut-out by gripping the pole when the strap itself "cynches." Additionally, DBI-SALA's I-Safe identification tags and cover keep labels protected and legible, while the wear-indicating strap and rope utilize an indicating core to signal whether the device needs to be replaced for complete safety. The Cynch-Lok fall restricting pole strap is approved to meet the stringent Canadian CSA Z259.14 standard for type A straps and its gated connectors are ANSI Z359 approved.

DBI-SALA Sealed-Blok Self-Retracting Lifeline

Industry-first features new to the 50-Foot Sealed-Blok SRL include the optional RSQ dual-mode rescue capability, FAST-Line field replaceable lifeline, 420-pound weight capacity and IP68 certification. In addition, units are available with an integrated retrieval winch.
The 50-Foot Sealed-Blok SRL is the first sealed self-retracting lifeline to achieve IP68 certification. This code, as defined by international standard IEC 60529, describes the product's ability to seal out solids and liquids such as dirt, dust and water. In addition to providing the highest level of ingress protection available on the market, the Sealed-Blok SRL also offers the highest weight capacity of any SRL on the market at 420 pounds.
A patented industry first, the exclusive RSQ rescue capability allows the user to choose (prior to use) between automatic rescue mode and fall arrest mode. If a fall occurs while the device is in automatic rescue mode, the SRL will arrest the fall and then automatically lower the worker safely to the ground or next level. If a fall occurs while the device is in fall arrest mode, the SRL will arrest the fall and then allow for an assisted rescue to take place. This two-in-one operation offers work site versatility and optimization for each fall hazard. It can also lower the cost of a user's fall protection program because separate rescue equipment may not be needed.
The FAST-Line field replaceable lifeline provides trained end-users the option of replacing the lifeline in the field rather than sending it to an authorized service center, reducing equipment downtime and lowering the cost of ownership. The unique lifeline design provides simple verification of proper assembly in that the SRL will not operate if the cable is installed incorrectly.
The Sealed-Blok SRL is the only sealed self-retracting lifeline available with a retrieval winch for raising and lowering personnel or materials. The SRL can be quickly converted to and from retrieval mode for fast and efficient operation.

HeatTrak Outdoor Safety Treads
Heated Outdoor Safety Treads named Best New Product at 2010 National Hardware Show.
HeatTrak, manufacturer of heated outdoor safety mats for industrial and residential use, took first-place for best new product in the annual Homewares Show Awards at the National Hardware Show held in Las Vegas this month.
The company's Heated Outdoor Safety Treads won the Gold Award, the top honor in the Homewares category. HeatTrak was a first-time exhibitor this year.
The Homewares Show Awards were judged by representatives from major industry retailers including Ace Hardware, Amazon, Home Shopping Network, and Organize.com. The entries were evaluated based on aesthetics, uniqueness, usefulness, packaging, and overall value.
