Clarification re: Kyocera RYOBI acquisition 

RYOBI's worldwide businss units will not be affected. 


There have been various announcements and media reports regarding a transaction between Ryobi Ltd. of Japan (RL) and Kyocera Corporation (Kyocera) concerning Kyocera’s potential acquisition of RL’s power tool business ("the Transaction") and inaccuracies in such reports that have created confusion regarding TTI's RYOBI business. TTI is releasing this statement for the purpose of clarification.

The Transaction is not related to any of TTI’s RYOBI businesses worldwide, which will remain unaffected by the Transaction.
