CSDA offers concrete estimating course at WOC
Estimating is a two-day classroom course focused on the practice of estimating sawing and drilling jobs. It is recommended that attendees have at least three years of experience in the concrete cutting industry and want to become estimators, or be current estimators who want to broaden their knowledge in this field.
Topics covered include:
- Introduction to estimating and function of an estimator
- The costs of a job — what are they?
- Estimating techniques
- Building an estimating model
- Verifying the estimate
- Reading blueprints
- Customer service skills
The cost is $785 per student for this two-day course.
