MiTek announces two key position hires. The company has appointed Patrick O’Malley to the MiTek Builder Product Division as Director of National Builder Accounts and Supply Chain and Brent Kreutzer as the new product manager for MiTek Building Products’ fasteners, anchoring solutions, and tools.

Patrick O’Malley comes to MiTek with vast experience in the building industry, which includes working in the distribution channel for Cameron Ashley and Georgia Pacific, and in the builder channel for MDC Holdings (Richmond American). Most recently, O’Malley worked in the Pro-Dealer channel for ProBuild.

O’Malley’s chief task will be to use his wealth of knowledge and deep relationships to create and maintain direct programs with the nation’s largest builders at the corporate and divisional levels. He will also play a leading role in managing the supply chain that services these builders.

Additionally, Patrick O’Malley will be a key team member in furthering interaction between MiTek Builder Products division and its sister software business unit, MiTek’s Residential Supply Chain (RSC), which promotes and supports builders and the supply chain through the SAPPHIRE Suite of software products.

MiTek has also appointed Brent Kreutzer as the new product manager for MiTek Building Products’ fasteners, anchoring solutions, and tools.

Previous to arriving at MiTek, Kreutzer served for three years as sales manager for the new housing channel at FastenMaster, where he was successful in dramatically expanding FastenMaster’s channel revenue. Before that, also at FastenMaster, Mr. Kreutzer was national accounts and international sales manager, where he led a remarkably successful effort to open new sales in Canada over a two-year period. Mr. Kreutzer had worked for FastenMaster for 13 years in total, often working closely with MiTek products and retail partners.

In Mr. Kreutzer’s new role as new product manager for MiTek Building Products’ fasteners, anchoring solutions and tools, he will have the responsibility for introducing MiTek Building Products exciting – and rapidly growing – range of anchors and fasteners, such as the new MiTek TECO collated nails, and an increasingly wide selection of innovative products from USP Structural Connectors.
