Unistrut and Cope Add Sales Leadership

Rodney Long becomes VP Sales for North America; Paul Hughes is named Northeastern RSM.


Rodney Long has joined Unistrut International as Vice President-Sales for North AmericaRodney Long has joined Unistrut International as Vice President-Sales for North America with responsibility for the strategic growth of Unistrut’s commercial product lines. This includes Unistrut and Power-Strut metal framing, Cope cable tray products, and Acroba wire basket. Rodney will develop and manage the Unistrut sales strategy through its commercial sales team to expand marketshare in the mechanical and electrical markets with key customers and new products.

“Rodney has a proven track record building successful sales organizations and establishing key brands in the electrical market. With more than 20 years of experience in sales and leadership positions, he is a key addition to the Unistrut team,” said Steve Elsdon, President - Unistrut International. “His leadership and industry expertise will be a key driver of our marketshare growth,” he added.

Prior to joining Atkore, Rodney was the Vice President of Global Accounts with Cooper Industries. Rodney also spent 13 years in various sales and leadership roles with Pass and Seymour Legrand.

Paul Hughes has joined Unistrut International as Senior Regional Sales Manager- North EastPaul Hughes has also joined Unistrut International as Senior Regional Sales Manager- North East with responsibility for the strategic growth of its product lines. Working with our agents, Paul is responsible for developing and executing sales plans for key customers and new products lifecycle. He will be focused on increasing the value of our portfolio of diversified products by focusing on exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Paul brings over 20 years of sales and management experience to our team and is another valuable resource for the Eastern region. Prior to joining Atkore, Paul was the Northeast Regional Sales Director for Cooper Industries. During that time, he was responsible for delivering sales growth and increased revenue.
