STAFDA UID Scholarship Opportunities Announced
Ten scholarships to be awarded to attend the University of Industrial Distribution.

The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) is providing scholarships for the upcoming March 10-13, 2013, University of Industrial Distribution (UID) in Indianapolis.
STAFDA will offer 10 scholarships to distributor members seeking career advancement in the wholesale distribution channel. Each scholarship will cover the cost of the four day management school, a $995 value.
Applicants must be a full-time employee for at least one year at a STAFDA distributor and write a short essay on why they’d like to attend and what they hope to gain. The Association also asks for a letter of recommendation from the owner or company president.
STAFDA has been a co-sponsor, along with 30 other associations, of UID for more than 10 years. It’s held in Indianapolis each March and attracts up to 450 students from a cross-section of hardlines industries. Students are allowed to choose their own curriculum and the faculty represents the “best of the best” in distribution.
