Ericson Manufacturing Names Semancik Product Manager
Jon Semancik joins Ericson from VTI Instruments.
The Ericson Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the recent hire of Jon Semancik, who will join the Ericson team as Product Manager responsible for all aspects of product life cycle management including new product development, marketing and positioning, and customer sales support.
Jon joins Ericson with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, engineering, business development, and product management. Most recently, Jon worked as business development manager and regional sales manager for VTI Instruments Corporation where he led development activities on their next generation data acquisition products. This background, in addition to similar experience while at Steris Corporation and Keithley Instruments, has proven to be an ideal fit for his current position at Ericson.
Having started his career in the engineering field, Jon has held project management and engineering positions with major corporations in the military/aerospace and commercial electronics sectors including Northrop Grumman, Texas Instruments, Daimler Chrysler, and the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake.
Jon has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Fenn College of Engineering, and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. Additionally, Jon is a U.S. Navy veteran.
