IDEAL Industries Networks Division Hires New National Sales Director
Richard Jones hired to manage Networks Division.
IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC., one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of quality tools, connectors and testing products for the Electrical and Data Communications markets, has appointed Richard Jones as its new Director of Sales & Marketing, Networks US. The addition of Jones comes at a time when the company is experiencing growing demand for handheld testing and monitoring equipment in the Datacom and Network markets.
"We are very excited to have Rich join our team as National Sales Manager as we scale our business unit to address an impressive market response to handheld test and measurement product lines," said Jason Butchko, vice president and general manager of Networks Division. "Rich is an industry veteran and proven business leader, who, throughout his career, has exhibited the ability to develop new distribution channels and manage accelerated growth."
Jones will guide the division's sales and marketing functions in the rapidly expanding market for handheld testing devices and installation tools for the Datacom and Network markets. Most recently, Jones headed up Datacom Standards Consulting. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Chatsworth Products, Inc., a global manufacturer providing voice, data, and security products and services that optimize, store and secure technology equipment. During his tenure, he served in multiple positions, but most notably, he led the sales and marketing efforts as the company grew sales tenfold over a 10 year period.
"With our realigned sales structure, product mix and planned new product introductions, Ideal Networks is uniquely positioned to capture significant market share in the converging Datacom and Security markets," said Rich Jones, IDEAL's new Network Division National Sales Manager. "IDEAL's vision validates the promise of quality, ease of use and robustness for handheld devices. IDEAL's product portfolio provides the highest performance, durability and rock solid reliability in often harsh environments."
