Radians Acquires Carolina Safety Sport
Acquisition expands Radians' hi-viz product lines and domestic manufacturing capabilities.
Safety Supply Corporation, the parent company of Radians Inc., along with Philip Young and Tammy Joyce announce they have acquired substantially all of the assets of Carolina Safety Sport, LLC (Carolina). Carolina is a respected brand of USA manufactured custom reflective apparel located in Thomasville, North Carolina.
"This is an exciting acquisition for Radians," Mike Tutor, Radians CEO states. "With the addition of Carolina Safety Sport, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to expanding our domestic manufacturing. Carolina's capabilities will complement our growing reflective wear business.

Radians is a Memphis, Tenn. based manufacturer of quality safety glasses, hearing protection, performance gloves, high-visibility clothing, and footwear products. Radians has partnered with highly respected companies including DEWALT, Black & Decker, and Remington to provide high performance personal protection products. The company has additional facilities in Reno, Nev., Dallas, Texas, and Belmont, Mich.
