KNIPEX Promotes Todd Shumate to VP of Sales
Will lead North American sales force.
KNIPEX Tools LP is excited to announce the promotion of Todd Shumate from the position of Sales Manager to Vice President of Sales, North America. Effective immediately, all field operations will report directly to Todd. This includes Channel Managers, Regional Managers and the KTLP nationwide Manufacturers' Representative network.
In a letter distributed to KTLP employees on December 11th, President and General Manager Alan Sipe acknowledged Todd's leadership skills and strong work ethic: "Todd has a proven track record in successfully managing Sales Managers and Manufacturers' Representatives prior to joining KNIPEX Tools LP. Over the past years, Todd has led our US and Canadian wholesale distribution team resulting in strong sales growth and market share gains."
Prior to joining KNIPEX Tools LP in 2008, Todd held Regional Sales Manager positions at Minerallac / Cully, Progress Lighting / Hubbell Lighting and Klein Tools, Inc. He also held management roles at Dalloz Safety and Chase Ergonomics, Inc.
