Council Tool Names New National Sales Manager
Joe McShane joins Council from Ames True Temper.
Council Tool Company, Inc. is pleased to announce that Joe McShane has joined the company as National Sales Manager and will assume his duties immediately.
Mr. McShane has extensive experience in the manufacturing and selling of hand tools. He worked with Ames TrueTemper (a $650MM manufacturer of hand tools) for five years, serving as National Sales Manager for Government, Railroad, and OEM customers. Prior to Ames, Joe worked at Woodings Verona (an $18.5MM multiplant manufacturer) for twenty one years, filling a variety of production, operations, purchasing, engineering, and sales roles. More recently, he has been in private business in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Mr. McShane has also maintained an active business relationship with Council Tool for the last decade.
In addition to hands-on work, Joe brings comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing standards and industry contributions. He has participated on various committees and in numerous ways through REMSA, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, and AREMA.
Mr. McShane will be responsible for the general sales activities of Council Tool across all market channels, including industrial & contractor supply, STAFDA, and hardware distributors as well as proprietary and OEM manufacturing.
