Carhartt strengthens retail marketing team and prepares for continued growth.

Carhartt, a global manufacturer of premium work wear, today announced the addition of Brian Juszak as the Director of Retail Marketing. As Carhartt’s Director of Retail Marketing, Juszak is responsible for creating and managing the company’s strategic vision for building the brand with wholesale retail partners.  He will lead the continued expansion of Carhartt’s shop program and develop national marketing programs to drive traffic and sales with retailers.

Juszak comes to Carhartt from Kmart Format where as the Marketing Planning Manager, he was responsible for the annual Kmart Format marketing budget and marketing strategy management for television and digital media, supporting the Kmart Format in more than 1,300 stores. Before working for Kmart Format, Juszak was with Kmart Footwear, where he was responsible for the direction, development and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans for the newly established $600 million footwear business.

Prior to working with Kmart Footwear, Juszak spent six years with NIKE, Inc. As the East Retail Brand Manager, he was responsible for the strategic direction and local market execution of marketing plans that brought the U.S. brand marketing plan to life in the commercial landscape of the Eastern Region.

“We are fortunate to welcome Brian Juszak to Carhartt’s brand management team,” said Tony Ambroza, Carhartt Vice President of Marketing. “Brian’s previous retail marketing experience, knowledge and know-how will be critical in steering future strategic retail marketing programs and growth for Carhartt.”

Currently, Carhartt’s rugged work wear is sold in over 6,000 retail stores nationwide. In the past two years Carhartt has also opened three company-owned retail stores; Portland, Oregon, Salt Lake City, Utah and most recently in Chicago, Illinois.

“I am thrilled to join the Carhartt team as they grow their brand marketing team and embark on an important period of growth for the company,” said Brian Juszak, Carhartt Director of Retail Marketing. “I am eager to work with the retail marketing team to help build the future of this iconic American brand while continuing to maintain the reliable reputation it has built with its consumers over the past 120 years.”
