Little Giant Ladder Announces New Drop-Ship Program
Provides faster delivery, reduces shipping costs for online retailers.
Little Giant Ladder Systems, maker of the original articulating ladder, introdcues a new full-line drop-ship program for online retailers looking to tap into the fastest-growing segment of the ladder industry.
"Until now, selling ladders on the web has always been problematic," said H. Arthur Wing, President of Little Giant Ladder Systems. "High shipping costs, high rates of freight damage due to poor shipping practices, and low margins used to make selling ladders online a daunting challenge. Our versatile new ladder products ship in compact configurations, so we can brown box and ship them using FedEx, drastically reducing the costs of freight damage for our online retail partners, and increasing the number of SKUs they can sell."
Little Giant's latest addition to its robust web retail program is the MicroBurst, the only full size stepladder in the world that can fold to nearly half the width of traditional stepladders, a mere 3.5 inches.

The 4-, 6-, and 8-foot fiberglass MicroBurst ladders (available in Type I and IA ratings) meet and exceed all OSHA and ANSI standards. In addition:
- The StableLock spreader system constructed of a high-strength steel alloy creates a solid A-frame structure that virtually eliminates unwanted shifting or walking.
- The MicroBurst's extra-wide stance offers increased lateral stability and security.
