Bosch Tool Design Team Takes Multiple Awards
Recognitions include National Retail Hardware Association 2011 Packaging and Merchandising awards.
The in-house creative group at Robert Bosch Tool Corporation's North American accessories group recently took home several awards from the American Inhouse Design Awards (GD USA), the Global Association for Marketing at Retail (POPAI) and the National Retail Hardware Association's 2011 Packaging and Merchandising Awards.
GD USA
The American Inhouse Design Awards is a showcase for outstanding work by in-house designers. For the sixth consecutive year more than 4,000 entries were placed across the country with the top 15 percent being recognized with Award Certificates of Excellence.
Bosch won three award certificates for projects that included advertising in support of the company's new oscillating multi-tool and a countertop merchandiser for the same product that features a seven-inch video screen. The company's Skil brand was recognized for retail packaging that highlights a new butterfly case for drill bits.
POPAI
POPAI is an international trade association for the marketing-at-retail industry. The 1,700-plus member companies represent Fortune 500 brand manufacturers and retailers, as well as marketing-at-retail producer companies and advertising agencies from around the world.
POPAI's Outstanding Marketing at Retail Achievement (OMA) awards program recognizes the most innovative and effective in-store and at-retail displays. For more than 50 years entries have competed for gold, silver and bronze honors.
The Bosch team, in conjunction with Edison, N.J.-based partner Rand Diversified Companies, won a bronze award for its Bosch System Specialist (BSS) retail display.
NHRA
The North American Retail Hardware Association's annual packaging and merchandising awards recognize the best retail programs for the year in hardware and big box stores.
The Bosch power tools accessories group took home two awards, a silver award for hole saw packaging and a silver award for the company's oscillating multi-tool accessories countertop display.
Other Bosch brands also took home awards: Vermont American won a silver award for jig saw blade packaging and a gold award in merchandising for its router bit cabinet. The Skil brand was recognized with two gold awards for its router table packaging and butterfly case drill bit set packaging.
